I came across a video of a deaf girl at the age of 29 who received a hearing implant. Right at the moment when she heard her own voice for the first time, she was overwhelmed will the happiness and the happy tear just couldn’t stop coming out.
Once, someone asked the Dalai Lama what surprises him most. His responses
“Man”
He’s continuing to say that
Man lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies and having never really lived.
We unconsciously take so many amazing things in our lives for granted. We spend so much time counting our misfortunes instead our blessings.
The experience of gratitude from others like this video to me, just to shake myself back to the moment and remember to stay inspired and be motivated with things, people, books, situations….etc. Then let go of anything that are darkening my brightness, happiness.
The greatest regret in my life will be when I lie down on my bed for the last day of my life, then “I wish I get to do that thing or I wish I didn’t do that thing.”
May we all remember to carefully have our 5 senses, taste, touch, sound, smell, sight are tuning into what keep us motivated and inspired. May we all remember to count our blessings when (we believe) we are in the most devastated situations? If we look hard enough, we will see them.

And I was most surprised man. Every day they surprise the miracles given to him and which is not conscious.
Great insight! I would definitely like to follow you.
I am chronicling the year with a photo a day — trying to find the inspiration in everything — every day!
Would love for you to follow me in my journey too! http://aphotoaday2012.com/
